KRAN KAMTSCHATKA CRANE | KAMCHATKA 34 35 SPECIAL STORIES SPECIAL STORIES SCHWERLAST LEICHT GEMACHT HEAVY DUTY MADE EASY Die Aufgabe: Ein geländetauglicher, fünfachsiger Mobilkran sollte von Deutschland zur Halbinsel Kamtschatka im ost- asiatischen Teil Russlands transportiert werden. Unsere Spezialisten für Schwertransporte haben die Frei-Haus-Lie- ferung inklusive der Einfuhrzollabfertigung in Russland über- nommen. Dafür war viel Vorarbeit und Detailplanung nötig: Inklusive Zubehör und Spezial-Traverse belief sich das Lade- gewicht auf 138,5 Tonnen brutto. Der Kran fuhr mit eige- nem Antrieb vom Hersteller in Rheinland-Pfalz zum Ham- burger Hafen. Den Straßentransport des Zubehörs in vier Lkw-Ladungen disponierte HOMTRANS, ein Unternehmen der Rieck Logistik-Gruppe, die Traverse kam just in time nach Hamburg. Die Gesamtladung von umgerechnet 100 Pkw haben wir zunächst über Südkorea nach Wladiwostok ver- schifft. Nach der Zollabwicklung ging es per Schiff weiter zum Zielort Petropawlowsk-Kamtschatski. Inzwischen be- währt sich der Kran im täglichen Einsatz. ← The job: to transport an all-terrain, five-axle, mobile crane from Germany to the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russian Asia. Our heavy transport specialists took care of the “free domicile” delivery, including customs clearance in Russia. This involved a lot of preparation and detailed planning. The gross payload including fittings and custom booms was 138.5 tons. The self-propelled crane was driven from the manufacturer in the Rhineland-Palatinate to the Hamburg docks. The entire process for transportation of the fittings was organised and carried out in four truck loads by HOMTRANS, a sub- sidiary of the Rieck Logistics Group. And the boom arrived in Hamburg just in time. We then shipped the whole consignment off to Vladivostok via South Korea. After clearing customs it continued by ship to its destination Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Meanwhile, the crane is in daily operation. ←
