Conditions of participation
Rieck Holding GmbH &Co. KG organizes competitions for its corporate divisions on the social media channels Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/RieckLogistik) and Instagram(https://www.instagram.com/rieck_logistik_gruppe/) at irregular intervals for which the following general conditions of participation apply.
The competition is organized by Rieck Holding GmbH & Co KG, Osdorfer Ring 5, 14979 Großbeeren (hereinafter referred to as the “organizer”).
The competition takes place via the social online platforms Facebook “@RieckLogistik” and Instagram “@rieck_logistik_gruppe”. The respective competition is in no way connected to Instagram or Facebook and is in no way sponsored, supported or organized by the operators of the social media platforms Instagram and Facebook and does not justify any legal claims against Instagram and Facebook.
Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square Grand Canal Harbour Dublin 2, Ireland (hereinafter “Meta”) is the service provider for the Facebook and Instagram platforms. Further information about the service provider is available at https://meta.com/de.

1. PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION
1.1. Participation is voluntary, free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or the use of services of the organizer.
1.2. Any natural person over the age of 18 and resident in Germany is eligible to participate. Employees of the organizer, their relatives and influencers/social media channels or pages supported by the organizer are excluded from participation. Participation via competition bots, competition services or similar services is not permitted.
1.3. By participating in the competition, the participant expressly accepts the conditions of participation.
1.4. Participation in the competition takes place by: Liking or following the channel “@RieckLogistik” / “@rieck_logistik_gruppe” and commenting on the post according to the stated requirements in the competition post.
1.5. The competition period is expressly stated in the post text. Participation is only possible within the respective period.
1.6. Each person can only take part in the competition in their own name and only once.
1.7. Entries that are submitted outside the above-mentioned period or do not meet the requirements of the above-mentioned conditions of participation in any other way cannot be considered.
1.8. The organizer reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude persons from participation if there are justified reasons, for example in the event of manipulation in connection with the execution of the competition, in the event of violations of legal regulations or the conditions of participation mentioned here, in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.
2. WINNINGS, DETERMINATION OF WINNINGS AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNINGS
2.1. After the end of the competition period, the winner(s) will be determined by random draw. The respective winner will be chosen from all Facebook and Instagram participants. The respective winner will be named in the post.
2.2. The respective winner will be contacted via a private message on the platform on which he/she took part in the competition. If the respective winner does not contact the organizer within 3 days, his/her claim to the prize expires. In this case, the organizer is entitled to carry out a replacement draw.
2.3. The organizer reserves the right to publish the respective winner on the Facebook channel “@RieckLogistik” and the Instagram channel “@rieck_logistik_gruppe” with the user name.
2.4. The prizes will be handed in at the end of the competition. This is done either by post. For this purpose, the respective winner must provide the organizer with a valid address. Alternatively, the prize can also be collected at the following address and at a previously agreed time:

2.5. The entitlement to a prize is not transferable.
2.6. The equivalent value of a prize is not paid out in cash.
3. EARLY TERMINATION OF THE COMPETITION
The organizer reserves the right to terminate or cancel the competition immediately for important reasons. A termination for good cause may occur in particular if the proper execution of the competition can no longer be guaranteed for technical (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and/or software) or legal reasons. If such a termination was caused by the conduct of a participant, the organizer may demand compensation from this person. No claims can be made against the organizer if the competition is terminated. Legal recourse is excluded.
4. DATA PROTECTION
In the course of the competition, personal data of the participants will be processed in accordance with the organizer’s privacy policy and used exclusively for the respective competition. Any processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, in particular, the statutory data protection provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). It contains detailed information on how personal data is handled, how it is protected and what rights the data subject has in this regard.
5. EXEMPTION
The competition is in no way connected to Facebook or Instagram and is in no way supported, accompanied or controlled by Facebook or Instagram. The recipient of the information provided is neither Facebook nor Instagram, but the organizer. Participation does not give rise to any claims against Facebook or Instagram.
6. FINAL PROVISIONS
6.1. Legal recourse is excluded with regard to the drawing of winners and any judging of the competition entries submitted.
6.2. The organizer reserves the right to update the conditions of participation in accordance with the currently valid rules.
