Berlin, October 9, 2013 – Antje Engelmann (44) took up her position as the new Managing Director of Rieck Projekt Kontrakt Logistik (RPKL) on September 1, 2013. She will support Managing Director Patrick von Oy in particular in operational management.
The Rieck Group intends to strengthen its contract logistics business segment by appointing a second Managing Director. “We are experiencing strong growth in logistics for online retail in particular,” says Patrick von Oy. “Ms. Engelmann brings with her many years of experience and expertise in the field of e-commerce, which is very valuable for the expansion of this division.”
Taking off for e-commerce
Antje Engelmann studied business administration and holds a degree in business administration. At Rieck, she works primarily at the Berlin location. She will support Rieck’s contract logistics locations in Dresden, Hamburg, Neuss and Rostock in strategically expanding the e-commerce division on a project-by-project basis. “Rieck positioned itself early on as a logistics provider for online retail and has steadily expanded this field,” says Antje Engelmann. “This area is currently picking up speed. I’m looking forward to helping shape its future course.”
As Managing Director of the RPKL locations in Berlin and Hamburg, Patrick von Oy will continue to focus on sales and customer consulting. He also remains a member of the management team responsible for marketing and sales at Rieck Holding.
Common roots
Patrick von Oy and Antje Engelmann have already worked together successfully for many years – at Docdata, a logistics service provider for end customer logistics (B2C) and e-commerce. Antje Engelmann was most recently Managing Director at Docdata Fashion Services GmbH.
