Kleinostheim, July 29, 2022 – As of November 1, 2022, Tim Bittner (47) will become a member of the IDS Executive Board alongside the current Managing Director Michael Bargl.
Due to the strong growth of the general cargo cooperation in recent years and the constantly increasing tasks, two proven experts in the transport business, Michael Bargl and Tim Bittner, will be at the helm of IDS Logistik GmbH in the future. “I am looking forward to working with Tim Bittner, who will certainly help IDS move forward with his great expertise and many years of experience in the transport sector. With his support, especially in the operational area, we will significantly strengthen our general cargo network,” says Michael Bargl.
Tim Bittner learned the transport business from the ground up. After several years of practical experience in the transport sector and a degree in business administration specializing in freight forwarding, transport and logistics, Bittner held various positions at Dachser and Schenker, among others. In particular, he was responsible for infrastructure development, digitalization and process optimization projects.
Michael Bargl, incidentally only the second Managing Director in the 40-year history of the cooperation, joined IDS in 2000. In future, he will act as spokesman for the management board.
